Great that you want to subscribe to Kafka's users mailing list!

Subscription does not work by sending an e-mail to the list. Hence, you
are not subscribed to the list and will not get any e-mails sent to the
list.

To subscribe to the mailing list please follow the instruction at
https://kafka.apache.org/contact

The website under that link states that you need to send an e-mail to
users-subscribe@kafka.apache.org to subscribe to the users mailing list.
